Alexa Clay is a writer and researcher interested in informal and underground economies. A graduate of Brown and Oxford, she is the founder of Wisdom Hackers, a public interest philosophy incubator. The child of two anthropologists, her interest in other cultures and ways of living began early. Her latest book, The Misfit Economy, (co-written with Kyra Maya Phillips) explores the boundaries of the economy and society.
